Iron Man
Real Name: Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark
Arrogant, cocky, and rarely seen without some sort of liquor, Tony Stark is one of Marvel's most beloved personalities. Despite having no powers, Tony is a certifiable genius, who built his own incredible armored suit in order to escape captivity. He now uses his incredible intellect and arsenal of weapons and gadgets to make the world a better, safer place. You can read his full bio here |
Captain Marvel
Real Name: Carol Danvers
Don't tell me, you were expecting a male superhero here, weren't you? shame on you. Captain Marvel, also known as Ms Marvel or Binary, was introduced in 1967 in Marvel Superheroes #13, and later appeared in her own series, Ms Marvel, released in 2006. She's a skilled pilot and fighter, Carol has a long history with the X-Men and Avengers, and hasn't always been good, dealing with a drinking problem, depression and even at one point almost killing an entire plane of people on a drunken rampage. More recently, Ms. Marvel has begun to recover from her problems, and was offered her place in the Avengers once again, but declined, as she felt she wasn't ready yet. You can find out more about her here DeadpoolReal Name: Wade Wilson
Deadpool is one of Marvel's most iconic Superheroes, and one you're guaranteed to run into at any convention center. He's loud, unhinged and willing to give anything a try, provided there'll be Mexican food at the end. He's a mercenary (although he prefers the term 'cleaner of the gene pool'), with a super healing factor, advanced military training, and two katanas that spend a worrying amount of time lodged in his spine. He was created in 1991 by Rob Liefeld, and has come to be known as 'The Merc With A Mouth', due to his constant chatter. You can find Wades full backstory here |
